The reasons include the appropriate weight and lightness of aluminum compared to other materials, increasing the lifespan of the shutter door motor, resistance to hot and cold environments, having special physical and mechanical properties, as well as a reasonable price. The aluminum blade of the electric shutter is produced by extrusion (a process in which a metal or plastic piece under the influence of pressure passes through a mold with a special shape and its cross-section is reduced). Aluminum electric shutter blade is produced in different colors in the market; These colors include simple colors such as white, red and yellow, or special colors such as the color of chop, etc. Bridges are used inside the mentioned blades, which multiply the resistance and strength of the blades against the pressures.
Galvanized blades
In the past years, due to the use of inappropriate machines, galvanized blades were produced that made a lot of noise compared to aluminum. Today, with the advancement of technology, galvanized blades are of better quality and their noise level is much less. The strength and resistance of galvanized blades is higher than that of aluminum. The quality of galvanized blades is different depending on the quality and thickness of the sheet, the system of creating a blade-shaped section, the quality of the foam and also the type of color. There is a possibility of rusting of the mentioned blades in wet and dirty environments.
Steel blades
Unlike aluminum and galvanized double-walled blades, these blades are produced and marketed as single-walled. Their single wall is due to the high thickness of the sheet used in this type of blades, which ultimately creates a very high strength and resistance for the electric shutter door. One of the most prominent advantages of electric shutter steel blade is their anti-theft properties.
Roll Gate blades
Roll gator blades have significant strength due to having steel bar sections. The mesh of the section used makes it possible to see into the interior, which is very efficient for shops that want to be able to see the window while it is closed. Roll gator blades are very heavy and require a strong motor for proper use. High safety, light transmission and visibility are among the unique features of the mentioned blades.
Transparent polycarbonate blades (glass)
As their name suggests, these types of blades are made of polycarbonate, which have high quality and beautiful appearance. Transparent polycarbonate blades show high resistance during impact, pressure, cutting and heat. These blades are produced in such a way that they are bulletproof; Therefore, the mentioned blades are mostly used in important commercial and government buildings. Because these blades do not change color when exposed to sunlight, "anti-UV" (UV) materials are used inside them so that the color of the blades does not fade over time.
